Congrats to the Red Sox
My hat goes off to Pedro MartÃnez, Curt Schilling and yes even David Ortiz and Co.
But why didn't they sign Willie Mays and Jackie Robinson?
Howard Bryant explains in his book Shut Out.
If they had signed those guys they probably wouldn't have had to wait 86 years for a championship.
Always remember folks if you ever want to kill your wife and blame a black man Boston is the place to go.
Good for you Manny

Man, that's old news. They have black people on the team now. Hispanics too. Get over it.
"It's history." That's what everyone says. The bottomline is that they passed on Willie f*&%kin Mays.
They didn't have to wait so long.
